  4. 6 lbs. coarsely ground lean chili meat
  5. 3 chopped onions
  6. 3 T. oil
  7. 32 oz. canned tomatoes
  8. 24 oz. tomato sauce
  9. 4 to 6 minced garlic cloves
  10. 3 t. cumin
  11. 2 t. paprika
  12. 5 T chili powder
  13. 1 to @ T. ground red chili peppers
  14. 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate or 1 T. cocoa powder
  15. 12 oz. beer
  16. 1 T. sugar
  17. about 1 qt. water
  18. salt and cayenne to taste
  19. 2 to 3 picked jalapenos (opt.)
  20.  
  21.           Brown meat and onions in oil.  Blend together tomatoes
  22. and sauce and add.  Add remaining ingredients and cook uncovered
  23. over low heat, stirring occasionally, for at least 4 hours. 
  24. Makes about 20 servings.
